Why we wear it
Long before jewellery was a trend, Scripture told us to keep God’s word close — on our hands, around our necks, written on our hearts.
“Let not mercy and truth forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.”
A cross at your neck: a promise you carry all day.
“You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.”
A ring or bracelet: His word, always in sight.
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
A quiet way to let your faith be seen.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes.”
Worn openly. Never hidden.

This is described as a Patriotic U.S. rosary. I am not certain why. The beads are composed of small Puerto Rican flags which is why I purchased it. That said, I am very happy with the rosary. It is durable, is easy to move along the beads and shows off Puerto Rican Pride. While I may not use it every day, I certainly enjoy having it available whenever praying "with Puerto Rico in mind."
